Career Summary:
Prior to entering commercial real estate, David was involved in several businesses. From 1999-2005 David was Director of Tennis at Providence Plantation Racquet and Swim Club where he was a USPTA P-1 Professional and a Specialist in Competitive Player Development. In 2000 David co-founded internet company, SwimandTennis.com. After growing the company to one of the largest of its kind in 2002, David and his partners sold to internet giant, TennisConnect.org, an affiliate of the TIA (Tennis Industry Association), which is the largest Tennis Research Publication Company in the United States. David left the tennis business in 2005 to pursue commercial real estate investments. He moved into brokerage as well in 2007. David is Author and Publisher of three books, Before They Play A Grand Slam: Parenting The Junior Tennis Player, a critically acclaimed book on junior tennis, Button The Butterfly and Her Day’s Journey, and Sweet Dreams Little Baby. David, a serial entrepreneur, has been an avid investor into both real estate and private equity investments for several years. Since entering the commercial real estate world in 2007, David has assembled millions of dollars of land for development and represented numerous tenants and landlords.

Personal:
David was a 4 year starter on the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Men’s Tennis Team where he was an Individual ACC Champion, ACC Finalist, and one-time ACC Scholar Athlete of the Week. After earning his degree David played tennis on a professional level competing against many world ranked players. At age 17 he competed in his first pro tournament, the ATP U.S. Men’s Claycourts. David is a native Charlottean and lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife, daughter and son.
